Skyrim Review/Rant (Xbox 360)

Yes, the first fantasy review I'm doing is a video game review. Deal with it.
Skyrim...Skyrim..Skyrim. Everybody loved Skyrim. Me? I wanted to love it. I did. But I found so many glitches in the game I couldn't enjoy it like everyone else did.

Whenever I play a Fallout game, I always knew the models be somewhat rough. These games usually are. But Skyrim's model's were rough, voice animation was wrong, and the didn't move properly. I may not be as smart as most RPG gamers, (yelling about the massive amount of choices in the game) but I can't enjoy an RPG unless I care about the character, care about this land. To do that I need to immersed in the game, and when a character model enters their death animation during a cutscene and I lose them forever, I tend to be thrown out of the immersion.

The story is lackluster, the jokes are awful, and the voice acting is filled with more cheese than most. Well, except for the dragons. Voice acting and writing wise anyways. The game itself however is good, gameplay wise.

But the glitches and the bad spawns also ruin that. Memory loss, death characters who were just standing, a dragon spawning right behind me and eating me. I'm fucking serious. This game fucks with me at every point and I have every right to break it.

But the good qualities are quite good, and the dungeons are amazingly good, it's just everything else ruins it.
It's a frustrating game, but a fun one.

Look, the bottom line is if you want a less glitchy, maybe more immersive game, but more shallow, play every other RPG on the market. However, if you want a glitchy, non-immersive, but fun as hell RPG, play this game.

I still want it to burn for the dragon spawn though. That was cruel.
